The Playhouse district will be hosting their annual open-air dinner on Saturday, August 22nd along the picturesque, tree-lined Green Street. The dinner will host up to three hundred guests, bringing together locals from all reaches of the city together for one massive four-course dinner.
The menu features dishes from a variety of Playhouse District restaurants. Aine and cheese reception will start at 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. followed by a four-course dinner from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Neighbors, customers and local businesses alike will feast on a delicious menu that includes braised short ribs, Butterfish with soy vinaigrette and Summer vegetable tacos.

Beef Main Entrée: Braised Boneless Short Rib over a nest of creamy herbed polenta brandy bordelaise sauce served with baked globe tomato filled with diced summer vegetables and fresh grilled asparagus.

Fish Main Entrée: Misoyaki butterfish with sizzling soy vinaigrette with baby bok choy and furikake rice.

Chicken Main Entrée: Mary Roasted Chicken, a rosemary, garlic pepper, soy sauce and olive oil marinated chicken, brined for 5 hours, roasted with baby potatoes, served with sautéed garlic broccolini.

Vegetarian Main Entrée: Summer Vegetable Tacos with black bean puree, mini patty pan squash, mini zucchini, fresh peas, and squashblossom. Served with roasted summer corn salad and avocado crema.
Appetizer: Mini crab cakes with apple herb slaw (A non-fish option will be available for guests who select a Vegetarian entrée).

Salad: Cold Soba Noodles with crisp kale & fresh shiso, served with a homemade sesame soy vinaigrette.
Braise & Crumble
Dessert: Deliciously moist and flavorful Lemon Cupcake topped with rich and creamy raspberry frosting.

There will be live music from The Sweet Note Quartet who will complement the evening with the beautiful sounds of Jazz.

Open Seating – usually $85, these tickets are on sale for $75. Open seating allows you to choose your seat on the day, but it is on a first come, first serve basis.
Reserved Seating – normally $95, the early bird price is $85. Reserved Seating allows you to reserve a center table. At these tables, diners will be able to see the food being cooked and the live band playing. If you are coming with a group and would like to be seated together. The Playhouse suggests you book your tickets together at the same time.
Tickets will not be sold at the event, so it is important you book and reserve your table now. Your choice of food will be taken at the time of booking not on the actual day.
