Young & Healthy, a community-based nonprofit that provides access to medical, dental, mental health and other health services free-of-charge to uninsured and underinsured low-income children, will hold its 2017 benefit Gala on the evening of January 28, 2017.

Young & Healthy is excited to announce that the Helen and Will Webster Foundation has generously challenged Young & Healthy with a 2:1 matching grant for all donations made on the night of its 2017 Gala. This includes all donations made during the silent and live auctions, paddle raise, and opportunity drawing at the Gala.

The tropical-themed 2017 Gala, “Making Waves with Young & Healthy”, will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at H Studio in Sun Valley, California and will honor Dr. Charles and Rene Korth with the J. Donald Thomas Award and Sonia Singla with the Alliance Award. These awards are given to those whose dedication, perseverance, and selfless devotion to the wellbeing of children exemplifies the spirit that led to the founding of Young & Healthy over 27 years ago.

Founded in 1990, Young & Healthy was born from a community need to improve quality of life for children in the Pasadena area. The result is a human-scale solution to a large-scale problem: people helping people; and health professionals sharing their time, skills and resources with children whose families would otherwise be unable to access that care.

The 2017 Gala will help raise funds to continue Young & Healthy’s mission and ensure that all children have equitable access to quality medical care. All proceeds will benefit Young & Healthy, a 501(c)(3) organization.
