“The Villa” was transformed to scenes from Dr. Zhivago as guests enjoyed a winter white evening on Grand Avenue in Pasadena. Members and guests were treated to everything from roasting marshmallows on an open fire to snowflakes dusting the chandeliers along with warm winter hats to provide that extra spark of ambience. A traditional Russian folk performance of “Cossack Christmas” by the Folk Dance Ensemble added an authentic touch to the evening. Moscow Mules, mulled spiced wine and stroganoff were also on the menu.
