Have you ever wandered the aisles of a Whole Foods market with your tiny shopping cart, gazing at all the exotic and sometimes mysterious ingredients thinking, “What the heck do I make with that??”
Now opening in the Whole Foods Arroyo location is the new 110 & Bellevue restaurant. which touts an long list offerings. We spoke with John Nicholson, manager of the restaurant, who gave us a quick peek into what they have to offer.
“We exist as a great exposition of what we actually [carry] in the store,” started Nicholson, who sounded genuinely excited to be talking about the new addition. “We sell wines by the glass that we sell on our wine floor as well. Of course we make everything from the ingredients from our store, essentially showing folks what we can do with Whole Foods products.”
The restaurant is full service and offers a wide selection of dishes.
“We have a full gorgeous menu with an incredible variety. We also have our amazing cheese plates, entrées, appetizers, daily specials, and happy hour seven days week. Plenty of exciting stuff!”
Did he say…happy hour? Nicholson explained that, in addition to a hearty list of wines, they also have plenty of cold brews.
“We have 24 different taps. We have 22 beers that are flowing on taps and we also have one Kombucha, of course by a local, small vendor…as well as a root beer on tap.”
We know what you’re thinking, and yes, they do make root beer floats with their draught root beer.
Tonight, December 5th, marks their grand opening. Starting at 5pm, guests will receive a free 110 & Bellevue glass with any beer or wine purchase followed by a ribbon cutting at 5:30. The event runs until 8pm.
