“Our goal for every child who walks through our doors is that they stay on track to graduate from high school on time, prepared for higher education and a successful career,” says John Wilson, Executive Director of Boys & Girls Club of the Foothills. “We opened our Teen Center in 2015, so teens in our community would have a constructive and safe place to go after school, where they can receive help with schoolwork, participate in character building programs, and express their creativity, as they have in the collective art piece that will be on display. We are grateful for community partners like Homage, who recognize the value of our work and want to support our youth and help contribute to their success.”

“As a Pasadena business owner, I am proud to support nonprofits serving the San Gabriel Valley,” says Jill Pearson, owner of Homage. “Pasadena is a generous community and this Boys & Girls Club is supported by many local funders, including the Tournament of Roses Foundation and Rose Hills Foundation. I believe we have a responsibility to invest in the next generation, and I applaud the life-changing work of Boys & Girls Clubs with our young people.”

About Boys & Girls Club of the Foothills

Boys & Girls Club of the Foothills opened its doors in 1994 in response to high levels of delinquency, juvenile crime, and drug use among youth in the densely populated, multi-ethnic areas of Monrovia and Duarte in Los Angeles County. Their mission is to enable young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
