Pasadena Unified School District Superintendent Brian McDonald will be the keynote speaker for Monday’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Holiday Celebration at Robinson Park, 1801 N. Fair Oaks Ave. “Dreams Become a Reality”’ will be the theme for this year’s celebration.

The celebration will begin at 8:00 a.m. with a continental breakfast hosted by a continental breakfast-hosted by Scott United Methodist Men and Teach-In conducted by the Pasadena Unified School District.

The second part of the celebration will begin at 9:45 a.m. in the auditorium. Student winners in the Art and Essay contests will be presented and they will receive Awards, Proclamations, and Trophies. The Celebration will include Dance and Musical presentations.

Dr. Jamal-Dominique Hopkins, Director, J.D. Institute, will serve as master of ceremonies. The event is free.
