Two Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) schools will be spreading holiday cheer while raising money for a good cause over the next few weeks. John Muir High School Boys’ Basketball and Pep Squad are selling Christmas trees and wreaths and Norma Coombs Alternative School is selling poinsettias.

John Muir Boys’ Basketball and Pep Squad are working together to raise money to participate in the Jerry Tarkanian Basketball Classic Tournament in December in Las Vegas. Christmas trees, wreaths and centerpieces are on sale with the goal of selling 200 Christmas Trees. Orders can be placed online at www.premierholidayfundraiser.com through November 25 at 6:00 p.m. Enter the school name John Muir HS and city of Pasadena at checkout. Trees can be picked up rain or shine Sunday, December 8. Email [email protected] with questions.

In support of their annual fund, Norma Coombs is selling beautiful six-inch poinsettias for only $10. All orders must be pre-paid and can be placed by visiting the school’s main office at 2600 Paloma Street in Pasadena. The last day to order is Wednesday, December 4th and the poinsettias will be delivered to the school Wednesday, December 11th. Contact [email protected] for more information.
