Pasadena-Foothills Association of Realtors Charitable Foundation (PFAR) will once again be awarding scholarships to seniors graduating from the public high schools this year in the areas of La Canada Flintridge; La Crescenta; Sunland/Tujunga; Pasadena, Altadena, San Marino; and South Pasadena. There are ten public high schools in these areas and each school will be given one -One Thousand Dollar scholarships. Applications are available in the Counseling Center and deadline is April 20, 2014.

Fellowship Period and Amount of Funding:

Fellowships begin on Monday, June 16th, 2014 and continue through Friday, August 8th, 2014. Students will work full-time and receive a total stipend of $2,160.

Eligibility:

Students will be selected on the basis of merit. In order to be eligible for consideration, a student must:
1. Be a year 2014 high school graduate.
2. Have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement in their science coursework.
3. Agree to participate full-time in fellowship activities throughout the eight-week period (June 16, 2014 through August 8, 2014).
4. Students must be enrolled in a Los Angeles County high school only.
