Maranatha High School will welcome over 250 eighth grade students to campus for its annual Eighth Grade Visitation Day tomorrow, Thursday, October 20, 2016. This event is an excellent opportunity to showcase our school and allows eighth graders to experience a day on our campus. Our student guests will experience a pep rally, chapel, class/faculty interaction, and lunch while being hosted by our stellar Ambassador students. Please be sure to tell your 8th grade friends to RSVP with our Admissions Office by emailing [email protected].

Current MHS families should note that due to the influx of visitors in the school campus, MHS student body will have an altered schedule that Thursday. Students will start by participating in a pep rally with the eighth graders. They will then move to Grade Level Meetings to hear important information from the Counseling Team on specific items relevant to their grade. After meeting with their class, participants will focus on one of the core educational goals – preparing “transformative disciples”. All students will hear from inspirational speaker Spencer Dusebout, founder of Hands 4 Others. After this time together, the student body will again join the eighth graders for chapel in the Ambassador Auditorium where they will hear from Mr. Jeff Walling of Pepperdine University. Following chapel, the students will attend 5th period, lunch, and then conclude their day with 6th and 7th periods.

Maranatha High School thanks its staff and student body for helping welcome prospective students!
