The Los Angeles real estate market is vast and savvy agents are those who have the experience, expertise and flexibility to get the job done.  Aason Alms has worked throughout Southern California where she raises her beautiful family.  In an effort to get to know her better, we asked her some questions about herself and her life living in Los Angeles.

1. Name: Aason Alms (I was born on a Navajo Indian Reservation, hence the first name)

2. Astrological Sign: Sagittarius

3. How long have you lived in LA? 13 years. I decided I wanted to live in LA when I was a little girl growing up in Colorado.

4. What part of LA do you live in and why? Pasadena, I have small children and it is a wonderful place for them to grow up.

5. What’s your favorite spot in the city? My favorite spot is the Griffith Park Observatory. You can see forever and I still get butterflies every time I look out over the vast metropolis I call home. A close second is watching any live sporting event.

6. Where’s your go-to weekend getaway? My go to weekend getaway is the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas. They have the most comfortable rooms, a beautiful spa, and will allow my mini-Australian Shepherd to stay there!

7. What’s the first thing someone who is deciding to move to LA should know? Los Angeles is not just what people see on TV. We have a wonderfully diverse urban landscape that offers thousands of neighborhood vignettes for every style from downtown artist chic to classic old neighborhoods, to beach style living and more.

8. What’s your favorite part of your job?  My favorite part of my job is the art of the deal. There are so many moving parts to a real estate transaction, you have to think on your feet and constantly use your mind. Every sale is different and you are tested daily on your ability to negotiate effectively, manage personalities, put out fires, comfort, advise, celebrate, and ultimately help people with some of the biggest transitions of their lives.
