As the end of 2012 draws near, on behalf of our students the San Marino Schools Foundation wishes you the happiest of holiday seasons and thanks the entire community for your donations and continued support. With 40% of San Marino Unified School District’s funding coming from local sources due to state budget cuts, community support is critical in enabling our public schools to provide an excellent educational experience.

The San Marino Schools Foundation is a nonprofit corporation whose sole purpose is to raise funds for San Marino public schools. This year’s Annual Campaign goal is to raise $3.4 million to support the 38 teaching positions currently funded by the Foundation and maintain the level of educational excellence our students experience. If you have not done so already, please support our children, our schools, and our community by considering a tax-deductible donation.

Please note, the Schools Foundation’s office will be closed from December 24th – January 6th. However, if anyone wishes to make a year-end gift, please go to our website at www.smsf.org to make an on-line donation or mail your donation to our office. Or, if you have any questions please call our office and leave a message. A staff member will be available to accept donations for the 2012 calendar year, answer questions and return calls on the morning of December 31st.
