On Saturday, March 25th, Friends of Foster Children (FOFC) will host its fundraising luncheon at the Monrovia Community Center (119 W Palm Ave, Monrovia, CA 91016). The luncheon is open to members of the community.

To continue their 40th anniversary celebration, the luncheon transport guests back to 1976 where Friends of Foster Children all began. Tickets are $38 per person. There will be themed entertainment, raffle prizes, and information about FOFC and their programs.

“The luncheon is a great opportunity for us to connect with our community and let them know about the great work our organization does for foster youth throughout the year” says committee chair Kim Ferreira.

Proceeds from the luncheon will benefit the community through a variety of projects that Friends of Foster Children works on each year. Projects include a school supply drive, a successful college scholarship program, and FOFC’s largest project – The Sugar Plum Tree. The Sugar Plum Tree grants holiday wishes to over 400 foster children each year thanks to gift donations from members of the community.
