The popular event will be held at the non-profit’s state-of-the-art, sustainable learning center at 980 North Fair Oaks Avenue. The tasting party will feature unlimited food and beverage provided by a diverse array of Pasadena’s finest restaurants and businesses, including AKA An American Bistro, Amara Chocolate & Coffee, Choctál, Claud & Co. Bacchus’ Kitchen, Contessa Collections LLC., El Cholo Café, El Portal, Flour + Tea, Jackie’s Cakes, Lincoln, Meat District Co., Melt It!, Pasadena Sandwich Company, Urban Radish, White Horse Lounge and Whole Foods Market Pasadena. The festivities will be led by host, comedian and Master of Ceremonies, David Schmidt. Guests will enjoy live music all night from two great acts: The Labrateers Band and The Silver Lake Chorus. The entertainment doesn’t end there; attendees will also have fun at the photo booth and will have the chance to bid on an array of exciting experiences and items at the event’s silent auction. The evening is made possible through the generosity of event sponsors: Disney Store; Toyota Motor Sales, USA; Kaiser Permanente; Christie, Parker & Hale, LLP; Ellen and Harvey Knell; Margaret and David Mgrublian; and Georgianna Erskine. The Fall Food & Wine Festival is designed, created, and implemented by the Event Steering Committee, a dedicated group of volunteers who lend their time and talents to benefit Mothers’ Club.

Mothers’ Club Family Learning Center prepares families living in isolation and poverty to succeed in school and in life through two-generation learning programs. The organization has been pioneering two-generation learning in the Pasadena community for over 50 years, teaching mothers to be their child’s first and most important teacher while ensuring young, at-risk children enter kindergarten ready and eager to learn. This unique approach is a proven way to lift disadvantaged families out of the cycles of poverty and under-education. Mothers’ Club programs comprise high quality, research-based early childhood education for children ages 0-5, and comprehensive services for parents, including parent education, leadership training, adult literacy, vocational exploration, and mental health support and interventions.
