On October 27, Congresswoman Judy Chu and USDA Under Secretary Kevin Concannon joins Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) leadership and community leaders at Cleveland Elementary School to observe successes the school has had with the National School Lunch Program and the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program.

With high student participation in the free and reduced school lunches, Cleveland Elementary School is positioned well to provide kids the healthy foods they need to achieve academic success. This visit comes on the heels of National School Lunch Week and Food Day, during Farm-to-School Month when activities are taking place throughout the nation.
