At Dog Hous, a casual hot dog concept restaurant, one can savor some really crazy dogs. This time, Culinary Director Michael Brown and Würstmacher (sausage-maker) Adam Gertler have cooked up a wacky culinary mash-up of chicken fried sausage on a waffled bun at their Biergarten location in Pasadena. Only for a limited-time flavor, this combo (like the Foie Gras dog and others) will only be available for a few days and in a small quantity.

Dubbed the “The Southbound and Down” this dog combination is a delicious combination of sweet and salty, soft and crunchy that features a chicken sausage that’s butterflied, hand-breaded and deep-fried, over waffled Kings Hawaiian Rolls, topped with sweet maple and buttermilk coleslaw and then drizzled with chestnut honey.

You can try your own fried chicken and waffles-style Dog Haus creation at their Biergarten location in Old Pasadena only on Saturday, June 27th and Sunday, June 28th.

Dog Haus Biergarten is at 98 E. Green St., Pasadena. Call (626) 683-0808 or visit www.doghaus.com.
