Alondra Hot WingsDespite their financial situation, Garo, Danny and Harout Kazarian managed to max out 4 credit cards and broke 2 piggy banks (Harout’s college savings) which his father had been saving for him since he was a child. Alondra Hot Wings was born in 2002 and since then the family owned chain has opened a total of 5 locations in southern California, Paramount, Montebello, Long Beach, Alhambra and Pasadena, and even garnered recognition from local city and state government.

The Kazarian brothers attribute their success to their humble beginnings in Montebello California, hard work and their commitment to the family.

“When we started we didn’t know how to measure success and failure but we always had a commitment to quality and each other,” said Garo.

The three brothers learned the ins and outs of the restaurant business and focused their efforts on community building. Garo explained that it’s not enough to have great food, but that excellent customer service and hospitality is a key ingredient in their restaurants.

Each custom designed location is meant to feel like a real community space – whether you want to catch the big game or grab a delicious bite. Although hard pressed to name a favorite, Garo is partial to the chicken wings, cheese balls and the Gambino pizza. Some of their menu highlights include hand crafted burgers, specialty salads and east coast sandwiches. It should be said that all ranch dressing, pizza sauce, dough and sides are made in house. All food is crafted to order by their experienced chefs.
‘We’re a community restaurant and a family owned business. We care about the community and want to stay relevant to what people care about,’ said Garo.
