Market on Holly, a popular restaurant and long-time resident on Holly Street in Pasadena, has been closed for about two months now and not 
much is known about its fate.
It is now apparent that a restaurant under a new name is opening at the same address, as a notice posted in the window shows.
The notice with a logo that reads “Sangers and Joe Café and Restaurant” is advertising for job openings for a breakfast/lunch cook, a dishwasher/prep-cook/runner, and a barista/cashier/server.
Sangers and Joe has a website, www.sangersandjoe.com, that doesn’t have much content, and its Facebook page doesn’t show much either, save for the logo as its profile, a short description that it is going to be a breakfast and brunch restaurant and a coffee shop, and a map that shows its location at 57 Holly Street, Pasadena.
Interestingly, Market on Holly’s website, www.themarketonholly.com, continues to be live with menus and schedules, with no mention of its closing or any other related information.
