Wells Fargo-Rosemead has nominated University of the West to receive its 2015 Non-Profit Organization Grant –an annual Award Wells Fargo presents to deserving organizations as selected by the bank’s area branches.
Professor Meskerem Tadesse, Director of the UWest Center for the Study of Minority and Small Business and full-time faculty in the Business Administration Department, will be receiving the Award on behalf of the University of the West, as part of Wells Fargo Bank’s “Community Connection Breakfast” to be held in Pasadena on October 8th, 2015.
Wells Fargo-Rosemead is located within a walking distance from the UWest main campus, providing banking services to our students as well as staff and faculty. Both UWest and Wells Fargo-Rosemead appreciate the strategic partnership opportunities to be gained from this geographic proximity in optimizing our service to our customers and the broader community in which we reside. Recognizing the importance of this partnership, Wells Fargo-Rosemead has partnered with the UWest Center for Minority and Small Business by sponsoring the 2015 Volume of the “UWest MINORITY AND SMALL BUSINESS REVIEW”—an annual publication that provides a collection of relevant and practical business articles designed to inform and educate area small businesses. UWest invited Wells Fargo-Rosemead Branch Manager to be the Keynote speaker at the 2015 Orientation Program.
As UWest continues to seek partnership opportunities with area organizations to optimally serve our students and the neighboring communities, we look forward to build upon this foundational partnership between our organizations.
