The 21-room lodge is a perfect base camp for traversing trails and hitting nearby must-sees like North Dome, Grand Sentinel, Zumwalt Meadow, Roaring Falls and Muir Rock.
The Cedar Grove Lodge is also getting a facelift. The renovations include updates to furniture, bedding, drapery, new paint, art and more. Guests will be able to see some changes right away, with the complete remodel wrapping mid-summer.
While usually booked solid in summer, this early opening is the perfect opportunity to check out one of Kings Canyon’s lesser-known gems.
