On Tuesday, August 5, Don and Maria Schweitzer of the Law Offices of Donald P. Schweitzer of Pasadena, showed their continued support of Foothill Unity Center’s mobile dental clinic by presenting a $10,470 check from funds raised during the firm’s Circle of Friends fundraiser last May.
The Schweitzer’s also volunteered during the Center’s 16th annual Back to School Distribution at Santa Anita Park racetrack in Arcadia, an event that provides approximately 1,500 local school kids with an optional dental screening and opportunity to receive a full array of the back-to-school supplies and clothing. Students from USC’s Ostrow School of Dentistry provided dental screenings to determine if a child qualifies for pediatric dental procedures that will take place at the Mobile Dental Clinic event in November, including sealants, filings, extractions, and minor oral surgery.
