The annual Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts brings together local designers to transform a historic house at a top secret location. This year, the designers let their creativity soar at a Mission Revival estate that exudes stately elegance and pervades a sense of early California style. Designers preserved some of the existing chandeliers and decorated the elevators – all while bringing a sense of elegance to the home. Small touches like an iPad next to the bed and framed photos in the Grandparent’s Room add sparkles of personality to the house.
In addition to the home itself, another essential part of Showcase is visiting The Shops at Showcase and dining at The Restaurant, called The Berkshire, or grabbing a drink at the Saffron
Lounge.
The Showcase House will be open for tours from April 17 to May 15, 2016. Parking and complimentary shuttle service is at Pasadena Rose Bowl – Lot I, 360 North Arroyo Boulevard, Pasadena.
Tickets cost between $35 and $45 and can be ordered by mail, online at PasadenaShowcase.org or by calling (714) 442-3872. Tickets go on sale February 3, 2016.
