SPACE presents “South Pasadena is For the Birds”, a community exhibition and contest to make one-of-a-kind birdhouses, a project designed by artist Marie Switzer Miller. The goal is to inspire creativity in people of all ages while providing Southern California birds with safe havens.
The birdhouse exhibition culminates in an outside display on the South Pasadena Library grounds during the South Pasadena Eclectic Music Festival and Artwalk on Saturday, May 2. The organizers hope to have 100 unique birdhouses hanging from the trees in the library park!
There will be prizes given in different categories. The contest is available to all ages. To enter a birdhouse the entry fee is $15.
Please Note: Birdhouses need to be delivered on May 2, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. to the South Pasadena Library Park at 1115 El Centro St.
