On Thursday, October 6, 2016, Cancer Support Community (CSC) Pasadena presents The Sixth Annual Ladies Night Out 2016 “VIP Access”, an evening of entertainment, laughter, and commemoration. The celebratory benefit was created to honor “the courageous women in our lives who have been touched by cancer.” VIP Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. at The Rose, Pasadena’s new Club located at Paseo Colorado on Green Street. General admission begins at 6:30 p.m.
Co-Chairwomen of Ladies Night Out 2016 are Tiffany Beljak, Sarah Shelton and Cathy Woolway. The Honorary Co-Chairwoman is Liz Rusnak Arizmendi of Rusnak Auto Group. Put on your chic red, white and black attire and join an evening of live entertainment by “Uptown Live” and game booths presented by Mimi et Cie and Neiman Marcus.
Cancer Support Community Pasadena is excited to announce its very own Celebrity Emcee Lian Dolan and Guest of Honor Alana Stewart.
Alana Stewart began her career as a Ford model and then began her acting career appearing on such popular TV series as The Love Boat, Evil Kinieval, Fantasy Island , The Bionic Woman and many others. Alana’s film roles include Allan Carr’s Where the Boys Are, Jonathan Demme’s Swing Shift, and the mini-series Small Sacrifices, Lonesome Dove and others. Alana hosted the popular talk show The George and Alana Show with former husband George Hamilton. In 2007 Alana began working with her dear friend Farrah Fawcett on directing and producing Emmy award nominee Farrah’s Story which documented Farrah’s cancer struggle. Now president of the Farrah Fawcett Foundation for cancer research, Alana will be speaking about her New York Times best seller book “My Journey with Farrah”.
Lian Dolan is a writer, producer and broadcaster. She is author of two novels, Helen of Pasadena and Elizabeth the First Wife. She currently writes and produces the weekly podcast and blog The Chaos Chronicles and created Satellite Sisters, an award-winning radio talk show, blog and website with her four sisters. She is also the co-author of Satellite Sisters UnCommon Senses, has written for O, The Oprah Magazine and Working Mother and has appeared on The Today Show, CBS Sunday Morning and The Oprah Winfrey Show.
The live auction, with auctioneer Chris Morphy, features 4 nights at an Exclusive Resort, tickets to The Voice and Dancing with the Stars, A Night at The Magic Castle for 8, $5000 with Dr. Leif Rogers, A Paella Dinner for 20 in a private home, 2 night package at The Terranea, a 2 night package at the Belmond El Encanto Resort with a Rusnak Maserati, a cooking class with Claud Beltran, a week at a Vidanta Mexican Resort and A Night on the Town with Salon Aguayo and Arroyo Chop House.
The 5 raffle prizes are Dinner for 25 at Mijares, 2 nights at The Ranch in Laguna Beach, Dinner for 6 at Bistro 45, a $500 gift certificate from Pearls, and a bag of Lily items and a $300 gift certificate from Ladybird. Raffle tickets are $100 each or 6 tickets for $500, and they may be purchased at the CSCP offices. The winners do not need to be present at the event.
