The Rite Aid Foundation announced today a $5,000 grant to AbilityFirst, a nonprofit dedicated to providing creative, nurturing environments for children with disabilities to develop key life skills and build confidence. The funding provided by the Rite Aid Foundation will be used to help offset the cost for children to attend the programs offered.

With 25 locations across Southern California, AbilityFirst provides programs and services to help children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities reach their full potential throughout their lives. They offer a broad range of employment, recreational and socialization programs and operate 12 accessible residential housing complexes.
