The best Southern California chefs from Santa Barbara to San Diego will once again converge at America’s Stadium on Saturday, June 20th, and delight you with their fabulous preparations as Pasadena plays host to this year’s edition of America’s BBQ and Brews Festival at the Rose Bowl.
Partnering with Rose Bowl management, event organizer FX Arts Management LLC said on its online announcement that the event will also feature “gourmet BBQ food trucks and restaurants serving authentic Texas-style Smokehouse meats, classic BBQ sauces, and tri-tip smoked to perfection.”
All kinds of food stalls and trucks will be on site to provide visitors with a wide choice of comfort and gourmet food, snacks and desserts, and draft beer “will be flowing at the 50-yard line.” Hangar 24 Brewery of Southern California, Colorado’s New Belgium Brewing Co. and LA’s Golden Road Brewing Company will provide their craft beers along with many other draft selections.
For live music, taking the main stage in the end zone will be Grammy-nominated Lee Rocker and the Stray Cats, who have sold more than 9 million albums worldwide and garnered 23 gold and platinum records. Southern California’s Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers, and Preston Smith and the Crocodiles, will also be appearing onstage.
Tickets for America’s BBQ and Brews Festival 2015 will be $21 for general admission if purchased in advance, and $27 at the gate on the 20th. VIP tickets will be $50 in advance, and $60 on day-of-show.
VIP tickets include a separate gate entry area, one-hour early admission at 3 p.m., a private seating area with tables and umbrellas near the Stadium Field sideline, a private cash bar with select wines and beers, and convenient direct access to the Stadium Field.
A portion of every ticket sale will be donated to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank in support of their work with community partners to mobilize resources in fighting hunger in Los Angeles county.
