“Rattling Cages” is the theme for 1202 Salon and Spa’s benefit for The Pasadena Humane Society and SPCA on Thursday evening, July 28th from 6:00-9:00 pm. Local restauranteur Christina Karagias, of The Restaurant Republic, which includes Lucky Boy, Paco’s and City Cafe is sponsoring the evening and will be offering food and wine from all three restaurants.
Local vendors Meredith M., Anthony Guthmiller, Yellow Tomato, Gingers Corner Market, Café De Leche, Susan Miller Independent Ambassador for India Hicks, Richard Piña, Mikey’s Cupcakes and many more will also be featured. They’ll be donating up to 50% of their proceeds.
The evening finale will be a show choreographed by 1202 Salon and Spa’s Creative Director, Fredy Arboleda. “Rattling Cages” will be an exciting mash up of local musical talent and fashions on the runway designed by Drew Bird. Also featured on the runway will be adopted dogs and their owners, clothing provided by Meredith M. Boutique.
“Rattling Cages” will help the community recognize and give back to The Humane Society and say thank you for the love and happiness they have brought to families through pet adoption.

The Pasadena Humane Society and SPCA is at 361 South Raymond Avenue, Pasadena. There will be limited parking in the underground structure which is accessible on Raymond Avenue on the east side of the building as well as parking in the structure adjacent to Le Grande Orange Cafe on 260 South Raymond Avenue.
