The Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) has announced that Sierra Madre Elementary School in the city of Sierra Madre will be closed Friday, December 12 due to a power outage resulting from the major overnight storm. Families were notified about the cancellation of classes earlier this morning via phone message. Classes are scheduled to resume on Monday, December 15. Sierra Madre Middle School is not affected by the power outage and will be on a regular schedule today.
