Bullying is a strong term that elicits fear, anger and frustration among parents and educators alike. But what can parents and schools do to prevent bullying, address it when it does occur, arm children with reliable strategies to deal with bullying and navigate the ever-changing world of cyberspace and cyber bullying? Learn more about all aspects of bullying and how to open the lines of communication with your child during a presentation and discussion with Melissa Lowry, M.A. Parents will walk away from this event feeling confident in their ability to help their child deal with bullying from various angles and perspectives. Hosted by the Pasadena Christian School and the Parent Teacher Fellowship (PCS-PTF).

The presentation will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 7:00 p.m., at the Pasadena Christian School Auditorium, 1515 N. Robles Avenue, Pasadena. This event is open to Preschool through 8th Grade Parents! Parking is available at the Garfield Lot (corner of Garfield and Howard)

Melissa Lowry holds a Master’s degree in Literacy & Language Arts and has taught preschool, elementary and middle school. She is also a former K-8 school principal and the founder of SmartyPantz Education; a consulting firm that specializes in helping parents and educators build and maintain strong home-school relationships.
