Marshall welcomes its newest administrator, Michael Degrazia. Mr. Degrazia will be overseeing Marshall’s Office of Discipline and Guidance. Mr. Degrazia was asked a bit about himself.
How long have you been in education?
I have been in education for 12 years.
Where did you graduate from?
I have a B.A. in Economics from UC San Diego
Masters in Business Administration from Cal State East Bay.
Where were you working before Marshall?
I was an Assistant Principal at Mt. Eden High School in Hayward, CA. I was also a PE teacher and Athletic Director at Bancroft Middle School in San Leandro, CA.
What do you find most interesting or surprising about working here at Marshall?
I appreciate how receptive and positive the students and staff have been.
What do you look forward to doing most or like most about living in So. Ca.?
I look forward to working with the students and staff at Marshall, and eating at new restaurants. I will also enjoy spending time with my friends and family.
What would you like to make happen here at Marshall?
I would like to continue to carry on the Marshall tradition of being one of the top schools in the country by focusing on instruction, community involvement, and working with students to reach their full potential. I would also like to contribute to 100% of the seniors graduating at Marshall.
