Another mural by Maranatha students is being painted this summer along Del Mar Blvd, just southwest of campus. The developer who is doing construction in that corner of the property asked our art students to contribute their talents to beautifying the wood fence separating the street from the construction area.
The mural will take approximately 3 weeks to complete. When finished, it will feature distinctive Pasadena landmarks, including the Arroyo Bridge, City Hall, the Courthouse, the Norton Simon Museum, and the Huntington Library.
The talented group of student artists who are working on this public art project include: Johan Wijesinghe and Jarrod Suda (the project’s designers), as well as Austin Haver-Hill, David McAllister, Leeann Huang, Catherine Yao, Calvin Yao, Ben Tong, Wesley Ching, Jimmy Phillips, Ali Socki, Cessi Socki, Jarrod Equitz, Alisa Sihn, and Crystal Jow.
