Tickets are now on sale (and will probably sell out fast) for the L.A. Vegan Beer and Food Festival on June 18, 2016, which returns to Pasadena’s Rose Bowl for the seventh year. The Festival will again feature a long lineup of local breweries, musical acts booked by GoldenVoice, and vegan-friendly restaurants.
For guests 21 years old and above, tickets will include unlimited four-ounce pours of more than 125 beers from 90 breweries, among these The Bruery, Pizza Port, Ska Brewing, Three Weavers, Solarc, Cider 101, Bottle Logic, Modern Times and sour-beer specialist Cascade Brewery based in Portland, Oregon.
Restaurants such as Susan Feniger’s Blue Window, Chinatown’s Burgerlords, Silver Lake’s Donut Farm and Beefsteak, the soon-to-open plant-based concept from Marcel Vigneron, will offer vegan takes on classic bar snacks, though you can expect vegan standbys like Mandoline Grill, Plant Food and Wine, Pizzanista! and Doomie’s as well.
A new feature to the festival this year is a cold-brew and craft soda tent, which will feature small-batch producers of kombucha and artisan coffee. A vegan pop-up marketplace will also showcase vendors selling everything from clothing to ceramics to craft goods. The restaurants were curated by local blogger Quarrygirl.
The Festival opens at 11:00 a.m. and closes at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $50 for general admission, $80 for VIP admission, $40 for non-drinking general admission and $60 for drinking VIP admission.
