Jim Noble, senior vice president and chief financial officer at Huntington Memorial Hospital has been promoted to executive vice president, chief operating officer/chief financial officer, hospital CEO Steve Ralph announced today.
In his new role Noble will be responsible for oversight of all of the hospital’s acute operations plus information technology, finance, ambulatory services and physician strategies, according to a news statement.
“Under Jim’s leadership we have continued to launch new programs and services to better serve the community, while remaining on the sound financial footing necessary to compete as an independent, freestanding hospital,” said Ralph.
“Making sure that Huntington Hospital’s leadership is structured appropriately to meet the new realities brought about by healthcare reform helps ensure that we will continue to serve our community well in the months and years ahead while remaining true to our not-for-profit heritage,” he said.
Noble has had more than two decades of experience in healthcare finance and operations, the last nine of which heading business services and finance for Huntington Hospital, according to a news statement.
The opening of the hospital’s west tower and the expansion of the San Gabriel Valley’s only trauma center have both occurred on Noble’s watch, according to the statement.
