Human Services and Recreation announced that the drop-in use for the multipurpose field at Robinson Park has been extended and will now run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
The drop-in time for Tuesday and Thursday will only be until 2:00 p.m. to pave way for the programmed use of the multipurpose field.
Mercy Santoro, director of Human Services and Recreation, said the changes are being implemented to make the field accessible to the general public for more hours during the week.
She added that the extension is effective immediately.
The rules for the use of the field and synthetic turf remain the same, Santoro said.
