It’s almost springtime, the season of new. Did someone say ‘”new”? How about a new cooking class at Beyond the Olive? This educational demonstration class will incorporate a Spring menu highlighting their gourmet olive oils, wine vinegars and balsamics.

Chef Debbie will be leading the class through a menu of Fiery Pork Skewers, Raspberry Basil Zucchini Carpaccio, Oven Roasted Asparagus, and Aslio Et Olio.

Debbie received her BFA from UC Irvine, during which time she studied with Patrick Stuart, Ben Kensley, and Bruster Mason, at the Royal Shakespeare Company. She was then granted a fellowship at the University of New York. While there, she visited New York City area restaurants, getting recipes and exchanging ideas with well known culinary experts.

Returning to California led Debbie to Pasadena’s Le Cordon Bleu, as well as working and working as a chef in many boutique restaurants up and down the coast.  While in LA, Debbie also cooked for actors Danny DeVito and his family, as Kenneth Branagh, and Robert DeNiro.

The class will be held Monday, March 10, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at Beyond the Olive, 10 N. Raymond Ave; Pasadena, CA 91103
