Can’t get enough greens in your diet? There is nothing to worry about – with these easy tips how to eat more veggies; you won’t even have to think how to include them in your diet.
Start early morning – boost your breakfast. Add peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms or onions to your eggs for a delicious omelet, or pile the whole scramble on your whole-wheat toast and add some greens or rocket salad on the top if it. Get a glass of freshly squeezed green juice with spinach, lemon, ginger and a few berries. Delicious and full of vitamins! If you never have time for breakfast – get a piece of fruit. Just grab a banana, apple or orange and enjoy it on the way to work.
Double on veggies during your lunch and dinner. Just add an additional portion to you pasta, pile up some salad on the top of your pizza or make a soup entirely based on vegetables – like cream of tomato or minestrone. You can add some kale, chopped carrots, asparagus, celery or zucchini. Anything you want – the possibilities are endless. Also, try to introduce a vegetable in your diet every week – look for something new and something you haven’t tried and try to feature it in healthy, delicious recipes.
