Schweitzer, A Professional Corporation (LODPS, APC), announced today that is has raised $6,000 during its 10-Year anniversary Monte Carlo Night fundraiser. One hundred percent of the money raised will go to Foothill Unity Center—a multi-service, non-profit agency serving low-income families throughout the San Gabriel Valley.

The LODPS Anniversary fundraiser was held Thursday, March 14th at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, and attended by Pasadena Mayor Bill Bogaard, members of the Pasadena Women’s Club, as well as other key business professionals from the Pasadena community.

Donald P. Schweitzer, president and founder of The Law Offices of Donald P. Schweitzer said, “We’re happy to be celebrating our 10-year anniversary by giving back to the community. Everyday in our practice, we represent people and make a difference in their lives, so partnering with another organization—Foothill Unity Center—that does the same in their line of work is a natural fit.”

“This partnership came at a time when we weren’t sure if we would be able to hold the Mobile Dental Clinic,” said Betty McWilliams, executive director, Foothill Unity Center. “There is a great need for pediatric dental care for low income children who are uninsured in our community, and so we were thrilled when Don and his wife, Maria Schweitzer, approached us asking how they could help. The money raised offsets our out-of-pocket costs and every contribution makes a difference.”

The $6,000 will support the Center’s Mobile Dental Clinic, and contributes to the organization’s $51,000 out-of-pocket costs for the clinic. In 2012, Foothill Unity Center’s Mobile Dental Clinic provided 3,011 pediatric dental procedures ranging from sealants, filings, extractions, and minor oral surgery—services valued at $185,000.
