“Congresswoman Judy Chu (27th District), will talk briefly at the 5th Annual “For the Love of Chocolate,” dinner and fundraising event to be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, February 6th at the Woman’s Club of South Pasadena, 1424 Fremont Avenue.“ All proceeds from “For the Love of Chocolate” will benefit the Club’s philanthropic and charitable projects, including annual scholarships for local high school students. Representative Chu will recognize the Club’s philanthropy and service projects when she speaks briefly at 7:00 p.m.
The Valentine themed event will be filled with appetizers and wine, a delicious dinner, and a variety of chocolate sweets and treats. Entertainment for the evening will feature the amazing magic and enchanting music of Patrick Bell and his “Operakadabra” production. For dessert, guests will be able to indulge themselves to their hearts content at an all chocolate treats buffet which will include a festive chocolate fountain

WCSP, a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization, founded in 1899, has a long history of charitable activities, donations to those in need, and scholarships for students.
