In the 1940s splendor of Union Station in Downtown LA, supports for the Cancer Support Community Pasadena (CSCP) gathered for the 24th Angel Gala: A Night in Casablanca. Guests dressed in their finest Bogie and Bergman attire. Women wore stoles and hats with elaborate gowns and men were decked out in trench coats, white dinner coats and tuxedos.

“A Night in Casablanca” was chaired by Co-Chairs Diana Nicholson, Tina Nieves and Julie Thomson. Honored that night for their commitment to CSCP were Ellen and Harvey Knell and RBC Wealth Management.

Dr. Ellen Knell and her husband, Harvey, are dedicated to CSCP supporters and generous donors. They graciously contriubte their time, resources and professional gifts to CSCP. Ellen has served on the Board of Directors for over six years and is Chair of the Program Committee.

RBC Wealth Management was honored as the 2016 Corporate Angel Award Honoree. RBC and CSCP share a rich history. Michael Healy of RBC is a long time supporter and with his wife, LeAnn, have consistently shared their gifts both personal and professional.

Cancer Support Community Pasadena formerly known as The Wellness Community-Foothills is part of an international nonprofit organization, Cancer Support Community, which provides emotional support, education, and hope to people with cancer and their loved ones.
