Kidspace Children’s Museum celebrated its 35th-year anniversary with a benefit event called “Once Upon A Time–A Tale of Kidspace Ever After†on Saturday, February 7, with Circle of Friends committee members transforming the grounds into a castle-like setting for cocktails, dinner, dancing and a live auction.
“I’m so proud of the outstanding dedication and countless hours that co-chairs Masako Kikekawa and Melissa Wu, and their committees, put in to bring the benefit to life. Their hard work and planning is paying off,â€Â Circle of Friends president Dawn Denison said.
Over 350 incredibly costumed guests attended.
The event is organized by Circle of Friends, a volunteer organization dedicated to raising funds for Kidspace.
The proceeds will go to Kidspace Children’s Museum, which was founded in 1979 by members of the Caltech community and the Pasadena Junior League. The programs and exhibits at Kidspace are designed for children ages 1 to 12 years.
The museum is located at 480 North Arroyo Blvd. Free parking is available in Rose Bowl Parking Lot I. It is open from Tuesdays through Sundays, but closed on Mondays during the school year. For more information, call (626) 449-9144 or visit http://www.kidspacemuseum.org.
