The harvests are in, and it’s wine time. California, as you know, is one of the best wine producers in the world. In fact, Vina Robles is becoming quickly known as a producer of various wondrous varietals.  For two nights this weekend, both James Lambrinos, chef at Pasadena’s a/k/a An American Bistro, and Ryan Bergunio from Bistro 45, will match their own culinary creations to five unique wine selections from Hans Nef, the Swiss-born proprietor of Vina Robles. Both restaurants will share similar menus and wines, but with each of the highlighted dishes developed differently and presented by each respective chef for each restaurant. Both chefs and restaurants will serve and pair:

  •  2012 Paso Robles Vermentino “Huerhurero” and a Scottish Salmon Tartare
  •  2012 Santa Lucia Highlands Chardonnay and Steamed Carslbad Mussels
  •  2010 Paso Robles Estate Petite Sirah and All Natural Duroc Pork Short Ribs
  •  2010 Paso Robles Estate Cabernet Sauvignon and Meyer All Natural Beef Tenderloin
