Pasadena Pro Musica’s final concert of the 2015-16 season, “I Love a Piano!” is all about Alan Geier, who in addition to being PPM’s long-time resident accompanist is an accomplished pianist who has performed all over Southern California. He is also a popular teacher at Pasadena’s Polytechnic School, where he has been a full-time member of the music faculty for Middle and Upper School students for 35 years.
Alan will demonstrate his remarkable range and musicality in an eclectic program of vocal chamber music featuring virtuoso parts for the piano. The repertory spans four centuries with works by Haydn, Rossini, Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Debussy, Barber, Copland, Morton Lauridsen and Shawn Kirchner.

The performance is on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 4:00 pm at Neighborhood Unitarian Universalist Church, 301 N. Orange Grove Blvd. in Pasadena.
