The Pasadena-Foothills Association of REALTORS® (PFAR) Charitable Foundation raised nearly $14,000 at its 24th annual “A Taste of Old Pasadena” on September 15. Hundreds of local real estate professionals, their clients, and members of the public enjoyed the unique opportunity to sample menus from dozens of participating restaurants in one evening, making this year’s event another success.
“It’s a great way to get out and discover all the gems of beautiful, historic Old Pasadena,” event chairperson Kerri Lewin said. “More importantly, ‘Taste’ is just one of our many fundraisers allowing us to donate over $100,000 to local charities and to grant college scholarships to public students each year.”
PFAR Charitable Foundation would like to thank this year’s sponsor, Escrow Trust Advisors, in addition to the participating restaurants and the hundreds of guests who came out in support. Special thanks go to Charitable Foundation Chairperson Matt McIntyre and “A Taste of Old Pasadena” Chairperson Kerri Lewin for organizing another successful event.
Since 1999, PFAR Charitable Foundation has contributed nearly two million dollars to the community. Dedicated REALTORS® and REALTOR® Affiliates donate time and talent to host fundraising events including Wine Tasting in June, Bingo Night in November, and Wreath Auction in December.
