Throughout September, the SoCal Honda Dealers are spreading Random Acts of Helpfulness to local Schools and Fire stations across the region, Fire Station 37 & Washington Middle School in Pasadena!

The Helpful Honda guys raised a total of 41,000 school supplies for deserving schools as part of SoCal Honda’s first-ever School Supply Drive in each local dealership, and are delivering lunch to over (50) fire stations to say “thank you” for keeping SoCal safe all month long.

The Guys in Blue visited hardworking firefighters at Fire Station 37 (3430 E. Foothill Blvd.) on Friday, September 12th, to show their appreciation with complimentary sandwiches, salads, cookies and drinks, in usual helpful spirit. “You guys in blue made us all feel very appreciated today,” said a fireman at Station 37 and another jokingly recognized the Guys in Blue from the commercials with a request of his own, “I need you guys to come to my house and help me paint please…just kidding!”

Staff and children of Washington Middle School (1505 N Marengo Ave.) were also visited by the Helpful Honda Guys on Friday, September 5th, to help start their school year right. The Guys in Blue delivered a variety of school supplies raised by Honda of Pasadena to Principal Dr. Stewart.

Why? Helping those who make a difference is one more way the Helpful Honda Guys are spreading random acts of helpfulness in the community. This summer, SoCal Honda sent out a Free Ice Cream Truck to delight kids of all ages with free ice cream, and dispatched its Big, Blue Tanker Truck to surprise loyal Honda drivers with complimentary gas during busy summer travel. Other Random Acts of Helpfulness include helping residents load groceries; picking up litter at parks, beaches and shopping plazas; giving thrill-seekers complimentary parking at Magic Mountain, and Dodgers fans upgraded seats and tickets to upcoming games! It’s their job to be helpful -no strings attached.
