Unwrap lighter options at your favorite lunch spot. ToGo’s on East Green Street is known for their sandwiches, salads and quick takeout options. This week, they’re making healthy eating a little easier with two new wraps plus a gluten-free option.
“It’s for people who need [or want] a gluten-free option and are tired of just eating salads,” said Lorraine Aguilar, Franchise Owner of ToGo’s in Pasadena.
She explains that people often request and come back for this chewy, can’t believe it’s gluten-free wrap. The wrap is made with rice flour, potato starch and soy flour in lieu of gluten.
Try it with their new Bacon Ranch Chicken or Spicy Pork Wrap. The chilled Bacon Ranch Chicken Wrap includes tomato, ranch and iceberg lettuce as well as diced chicken and cheddar cheese. The Asian Spicy Pork Wrap features pulled pork, Asian slaw and jalapenos. Both are available gluten-free.
“A lot of people want healthier and vegetarian options but people don’t realize we have them,” said Aguilar.
These new options combined with their popular Viva Veggie vegetarian sandwich might just make ToGo’s your go-to for lunch.
