Finding a healthcare facility that you trust your child’s health with can be a difficult task. ChapCare is opening up a new pediatric medical clinic at 2055 Lincoln Avenue in Pasadena. This new eight exam room clinic is following the recently opened pediatric dental clinic and vision clinic at the same facility.
“The idea behind all this is really to have what we like to call a Child Health Home where all children in the Pasadena community can get their medical, dental, and vision services all under one roof,” said Steven Abramson, the Director of Development and Marketing at ChapCare.
In addition to providing healthcare services, the health center will focus on educating parents about their child’s health. Abramson said the clinic wants to get across the message that healthcare is not just coming in when you are sick but also “coming for preventive services, “Start[ing] at an early age [to] really make sure that parents understand the necessity.” Abramson said that staying healthy is a family issue. When parents are better educated the whole family can stay healthier together.
