It is an excuse as if you needed any to leave that coat at home and join in with some of the many events taking place. As If you didn’t already know, July 24th is National Tequila day! And El Cholo and El Portal want to help you celebrate. Do you need any more persuading?
Explore the world of Tequila not just for one day, but for the entire week at El Cholo Cafe Pasadena who will be offering over twenty five different tequilas on their menu for you to try out.
On July 24th they will take you on a unique and journey of drink and food as they host a special ninety minute Tequila class and food pairing. During the evening you will learn all about the different tequilas and what food you can pair with which drink.
The Tequila tasting Appreciation evening will begin with a champagne half hour at 6.pm and official tasting will begin from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. For just $45 per person, you will be offered six tequilas and a range of food tasters throughout the evening. If you want to make the celebrations last longer, start early and join El Portal the day before on 23rd July as they also celebrate National Tequila Day. For a limited amount of guests El Portal will be offering a four course Tequila dinner cooked by their very own Chef Cesar. The evening will begin at 6 p.m. and will continue until 11 p.m. Reserve your place to avoid disappointment.
