While most people swear by the importance of a power breakfast, there is a different kind of love reserved for brunch. Magnolia House understands it too well—that’s why on March 14, 2015, Saturday, it will launch a new Weekend Brunch Menu that proffers a mix of morning comfort foods and refreshing cocktails.
“Our goal is to offer a menu that appeals to everyone: classic California brunch with healthy options and farm fresh flavors, wholesome favorites, as well as a few distinctive dishes exclusive to Magnolia House,” says owner John Bicos.
The menu promises 12 brunch dishes that make Saturday and Sunday mornings more pleasant. Among these savory selections are Greek Yogurt drizzled with honey, caramelized grapes and toasted almonds; The Basics which feature two eggs, with home fries and toast, and your choice of thick cut Applewood smoked bacon or all natural sausage; Belgian Waffles dusted with powdered sugar, fresh berries and maple syrup; and Eggs Benedict.
There will also be Korean Fried Chicken, Bacon Omelet stuffed with Applewood smoked bacon, wild mushrooms, bourbon onions and gruyere, and Veggie Omelet which includes roasted red pepper, wild mushrooms, cilantro pistachio pesto and smoked Gouda. House burgers, more types of omelettes, and salads complete the menu.
Bar Manager Colin Shearn has also created a new Brunch Cocktail Menu featuring Mimosa, Bloody Mary, and Magnolia House Sangria, plus two new cocktails, the Easy Lover and Americano in Paris, which taste as sensually as they sound. Coffee and freshly squeezed juices are also available for the non-alcoholic drinkers.
All in all, the new Magnolia House Weekend Brunch Menu sounds dreamy, delightful, and easy…like Sunday morning.
