There is still an opportunity for Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) families who missed the initial application phase for 2014-15 Open Enrollment or wish to make other choices to apply to attend a school outside of their neighborhood attendance boundary. PUSD’s Late Open Enrollment application period for the 2014-2015 academic year begins April 8 and continues through April 21, 2014.
Late Open Enrollment applications will be accepted from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 351 South Hudson Avenue in Pasadena. PUSD will accept applications for spots that have not yet been filled or to add a child’s name to a school’s wait list. Late application placements are determined based on first submitted, first placed and can only be submitted in person. Space is limited at many PUSD campuses. The latest enrollment projections can be found at openenrollment.info.
Open Enrollment is the district’s school of choice program that offers students the opportunity to attend schools with themed or specialized programs or a campus outside of their neighborhood school’s attendance boundaries. All students living within PUSD boundaries that will be entering kindergarten-11th grade in the 2014-2015 school year are eligible to participate in Late Open Enrollment.
