From special events to new menu items, this month, Congregation Ale House promises to make your Oktoberfest celebrations much more awesome.
All work and no play on weeknights make Johnny a dull boy. With that in mind, Congregation’s weekly calendar is stocked with events to spice things up:
On Monday, Mass (happy hour for the uninitiated) will be held all day.
Tuesday, the Azusa BrewPub Chapter will be having a Pub Trivia! event at 7:00 pm. Also offered? A 2-for-1 pizza promo.
Wednesday, it’s Pub Trivia! night again, this time at the Pasadena Chapter. Event starts at 7:00 pm.
Thursdays at the Azusa BrewPub Chapter, relive the glory days with Throwback Thursdays with local DJs. From 9:00 pm to 12:00 am, enjoy your craft beer with guest DJs while getting 15% off your tab when you present a valid college ID. What’s more, entrance is free!
Weekends are just as action-packed starting with a mid-day Mass from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday.
Saturday and Sunday, join the Congregation for brunch with breakfast sandwiches and pizzas, $8 Bloody Mary pitchers, and $3.50 Mimosas.
Sunday, indulge yourself with $4 PALM beers all day. Pub Trivia! at the Long Beach Chapter will also be held, while at Azusa BrewPub and Pasadena Chapters, test your luck at BINGO from 3:00 pm.
October will also introduce several new menu items, due to insistent public demand. Side orders of Belgian Fries, Sweet Potato Fries, and Tater Tots are now available rapture style, topped with Bacon Crumbles, White Cheddar, Jalapeño, and Sour Cream. The BrewPub Pretzel recipe has also been tweaked to include spent grain from Congregation Ales Brewery. A definite must-try.
In Brewery News, Brewmaster Brother Caleb recently brewed a full-bodied red ale to be dry-hopped and released near the middle of the month. Congregation Ale House is encouraging everyone to join the launch, with a special reward for the one who will inspire the new brew’s name.
Congregation has also teamed up recently with Kevin Cropton, BrewMaster of Epic Brewing to concoct a special beer for the Ale House. The event, to be announced soon, will feature over 20 handles of Epic beers and the special collaboration brew. Be sure to mark your calendars for October 21st to 27th!
