Twenty women experiencing cancer were treated to a wonderful day of beauty and pampering at The Foundation for Living Beauty’s semi-annual Day of Living Beauty on Monday, March 13 th . Pasadena’s Salon Sessions opened its doors to the Beauties, who each enjoyed a stylish cut thanks to volunteer stylists at the salon. Stila cosmetics also sponsored the event, giving each participant a bag of stila cosmetics and a beauty
makeover. Topping off the event was a glamour photo session with Rebecca Little from Rebecca Little Photography for each woman to showcase her new look!

Sponsors for the event included Salon Sessions, stila cosmetics and Rebecca Little Photography, with food generously donated by Panera Bread Pasadena and Real Food Daily.

The Foundation for Living Beauty, a Pasadena-based nonprofit organization, serves to educate, uplift and empower women along their cancer journey. The organization, founded in 2005, provides monthly events like day retreats, overnight retreats and sisterhood events where women with cancer can connect with one another and find ways to augment their physical treatment and address their many needs. Events help “Living Beauties” understand the factors that can play a role in a cancer diagnosis and provide significant opportunities to support their healing.

The Foundation staff would like to give special thanks to Neeko and Tanya Abriol of Salon Sessions, stila cosmetics, photographer Rebecca Little and wardrobe stylist Rachel Roland.
